Researches on reduplicative constructions in most languages have reveraled the connection of these constructions to such meanings as augmentation, increased quantity, internsification, continuation, repetition, completion, and distribution. The aim of this research was to show the connection of Persian reduplicative constructions to the aforementioned meanings within the framworks of “Iconicity Theory”, the principle of quantity, and the revised version of Regier's model (1998). The extensive research on form-meaning correlation in Persian causative constructions seminated in the development of a semantic classification of Persian reduplicative constructions (The attached semantic types lists 1-5). در این پژوهش ویژگی‌های معنایی دوگان‌ساخت‌های فارسی در چارچوب نظریه تصویرگونگی به‌طور عام و اصل تصویر‌گونگی کمیت به‌طور خاص بررسی شده است. مطالعات انجام‌شده در باب ویژگی‌های معنایی دوگان‌ساخت‌ها در اغلب زبان‌ها، حاکی از ارتباط این نوع ساخت با معانی/ مفاهیمی همچون فزونی، کثرت، شدت، تداوم، تکرار، کمال، تمامیت، توزیع و... است. ازاین‌رو، هدف این پژوهش، نشان دادن ارتباط دوگان‌ساخت‌های فارسی با معانی/ مفاهیم یاد‌شده و تبیین این ارتباط در چارچوب نظریه تصویرگونگی، اصل تصویرگونگی کمیت و مدل تجدیدنظر‌شده «ریگر» است. این مهم پس از پژوهشی گسترده در باب رابطه صورت و معنای دوگان‌ساخت‌های فارسی، در قالب یک طبقه‌بندی معنایی (جدول‌های2-6) محقق شده است. https://lrr.modares.ac.ir/article_6187_0e1bacf07b14673fcdb553da51b999a5.pdf
