تحلیل تیرگی واج‌شناختی در زبان فارسی

چکیده
پدیده تیرگی، همواره، موضوع مورد بحث در واج‌شناسی زایشی بوده و با پیدایش نظریه بهینگی بیش‌ازپیش بدان توجه شده است. تیرگی در یکی از دو وضعیت زیر، که برعکس هم‌اند، رخ می‌دهد:نخست، وضعیتی که با بررسی بازنمایی آوایی یک واژه مشاهده شود که آن فرایند، به‌رغم فراهم‌نبودنِ بافت لازم برای رخداد یک فرایند واجی، رخ داده است. دیگری، وضعیتی که با بررسی بازنمایی آوایی یک واژه مشاهده شود که آن فرایند، به‌رغم فراهم‌بودن بافت لازم برای رخداد یک فرایند واجی، رخ نداده است. دو تعامل عکسِ زمینه‌چین و عکس زمینه‌برچین علت تیرگی هستند؛ ولی تعامل زمینه‌چین نیز می‌تواند باعث تیرگی شود. پدیده تیرگی برای نظریه بهینگی، که قاعده‌های واجی و بازنمایی‌[های] میانی بین بازنمایی واجی و بازنمایی آوایی را در نظر نمی‌گیرد، چالش‌برانگیز است؛ ولی رویکردهای قاعده‌بنیاد که بازنمایی‌[های] میانی را در نظر می‌گیرند، با این پدیده درگیر نمی‌شوند. هدف این مقاله تحلیل این موارد است: 1. معرفی پدیده تیرگی؛ 2. استدلال دربارۀ وجود دو گونه تعاملتیرةعکسِ زمینه‌چین و عکسِ زمینه بر‌چین در فارسی؛ 3. استدلال دربارۀ تیرگیِ یک گونه تعامل زمینه‌چین در این زبان؛ 4. تحلیل این تعامل‌های تیره در چارچوب نظریه بهینگی با رویکرد کلاسیک (Prince & Smolensky, 2004) و با رویکرد پیاپی‌گزینیِ هماهنگ (McCarthy, 2000).
