اضطراب یادگیری زبان خارجی در سطوح مختلف زبان‌آموزان پسر و دختر ایرانی

چکیده
با وجود تعداد قابل توجه مطالعات درخصوص اضطراب، ساختار چندگانۀ آن همچنان موضوع بحث میان محققان است. گاهی در محیط­های آموزش زبان خارجی در ایران، فراگیرانی که انگلیسی یا دیگر زبان‌ها را به­منزلۀ زبان خارجه یا دوم فرا میگیرند، دچار اضطراب میشوند که ممکن است در سطوح مختلف و در میان پسران و دختران متفاوت باشد. این مطالعه که بر مبنای هم­بستگی انجام شده است، به بررسی سطوح مختلف اضطراب در میان سطوح متفاوت زبان­آموزان انگلیسی می­پردازد. بدین منظور، 108 زبان­آموز ایرانی پسر و دختر 14 تا 18 ساله که در یک مؤسسۀ زبان انگلیسی در گرگان مشغول زبان­آموزی بودند، بررسی شدند. ابتدا میزان اضطراب در سطوح مختلف و سپس در میان زبان­آموزان پسر و دختر بررسی شد. تجزیه و تحلیل آماری اطلاعات که از طریق مربع خی در نرم­افزار R انجام شد، نشان داد که درکل بین اضطراب و سطوح مختلف زبان­آموزان رابطۀ معناداری وجود ندارد، اما نتایج نشان دادند که رابطۀ معناداری بین سطح اضطراب و جنسیت وجود دارد. دستاوردهای این مطالعه برای تنظیم مطالعات وسیع­تر آینده و نیز مدرسان زبان انگلیسی، تربیت­کنندگان مدرسان زبان و همچنین طراحان برنامۀ درسی مفید خواهد بود تا عوامل عاطفی و به­خصوص اضطراب را در جنبه­های مختلف تدریس زبان انگلیسی به­منزلۀ زبان خارجی در ایران مدنظر قرار دهند.
